Windows’ 22-year-old app is getting a makeover!

Ana sayfa / Windows

Microsoft is planning a major overhaul for Sticky Notes, the indispensable application for Windows computers. The update the tech giant is working on shows that the notes will be redesigned in pink and will get OneNote integration.

Screenshots shared for Sticky Notes show that the app has switched to a purple color scheme, similar to the OneNote note-taking app. This suggests that the lines between the two apps may blur in the future and that there will be note synchronization across platforms.

Other changes seen include a new search box at the top of the Sticky Notes interface. This allows users to search their existing notes by keyword rather than scanning them. Recent notes will also be prominently displayed for quick access to recently edited items.

AI also affected the memory market! 500 percent…

Recently, there has been an increase in HBM memory prices due to important developments in the field of artificial intelligence.

The update will also add additional buttons below the note creation area. A new “screenshot” feature will be added to existing formatting options such as bold, italic and underline. This will allow screenshots to be saved directly into notes.

Sticky Notes was first introduced in Windows XP Tablet Edition, released in 2002. It was then introduced as a widget in Windows Vista and became one of the core applications for Windows.

Initially designed as a simple note-taking tool, Sticky Notes seems to be an alternative to OneNote with this update. The update is expected to be available for Windows 11 soon.
